More and more people are starting to experiment with beer and food, which is why we’re delighted that There’s A Beer For That, a national campaign to reignite Britain’s love of beer, has agreed to partner with London Beer City this year to help showcase the versatility of beer, showing how well it pairs with a variety of dishes.


It’s a theme that the campaign has already had huge success with: There’s A Beer For That’s #BeerMatch tool on Twitter has seen thousands of enthusiastic punters have their food matched with a suitable beer, simply by tweeting the name of their dish to @BeerForThat using the hashtag #BeerMatch. Their weekly themed Twitter chat Beer Club is now rolling out in pubs across the UK as Beer Club Live, a series of beer and food events, demonstrating just how well beer and food match together.


Both initiatives will play a big part in this year’s London Beer City. During the week, if you use #BeerMatch there’s a chance you will get your perfect pairing specially delivered to you, wherever you are in London. Plus, Beer Club Live will see a beer and food matching dinner at one of the capital’s finest pubs. Follow @BeerForThat on Twitter for the latest event updates.
