London Beer City Home

Unlike most beer festivals, London Beer City does not take place in one single venue. It's a week
of events at the capital's best pubs, bars and breweries, taking in everything from dinners to
tours and mini-festivals. There's something for everyone - have a look at our schedule and see!

London Brewers alliance

More and more people are starting to experiment with beer and food, which is why we’re delighted that There’s A Beer For That, a national campaign to reignite Britain’s love of beer, has agreed to partner with London Beer City this year to help showcase the versatility of beer, showing how well it pairs with a variety of dishes.

It’s a theme that the campaign has already had huge success with: There’s A Beer For That’s #BeerMatch tool on Twitter has seen thousands of enthusiastic punters have their food matched with a suitable beer, simply by tweeting the name of their dish to @BeerForThat using the hashtag #BeerMatch. Their weekly themed Twitter chat Beer Club is now rolling out in pubs across the UK as Beer Club Live, a series of beer and food events, demonstrating just how well beer and food match together.

We’re delighted to announce that this year’s London Beer City beer is a collaboration between brewers from the capital’s four corners: Beavertown (North), Five Points (East), Fourpure (South) and Fuller’s (West). It’s a delicious, thirst-quenching pale ale with a few tricks up its sleeve. Look out for it all over town! If you run a pub/bar/place that sells draught beer and you want to get involved, get in touch via the contact page.

We’re kicking off this year’s London Beer City with a party to remember! We’re taking over Five Points’ Yard just off Mare Street in Hackney on Saturday 6 August: expect London’s best beer (including Five Points, Beavertown, Fourpure and many more), fantastic food, music and more. Come down for the afternoon or evening to celebrate London’s bold and beautiful beer scene.
